Why did we choose Sibaya?
Sibaya gives us a North Coast base near Umhlanga and Umdloti. It brings the showroom experience closer to customers who have been browsing online.
Opening our first KZN showroom was about making that connection more personal. You can browse online, then visit with the questions a photograph hasn’t answered. Is the seat deep enough for you? Does the sofa feel as generous as it looks?
What can you expect in our Sibaya showroom?
Expect sofas in lifestyle settings, fabrics you can handle and a team ready to help with configurations and styling. There’s coffee, too.
Take time to sit properly. Lean back, stretch out and compare the pieces that catch your eye rather than perching on the edge.
Bring your shortlist, perhaps Zola, Lira Luxe or Nobu, and ask what’s available to try. For a particular model or configuration, call ahead to confirm the display before making a special trip.
What matters when furnishing a Durban home?
Start with how your room works, not a prescribed coastal look. Bring your measurements and a few photographs so we can discuss the space you’re actually furnishing.
For an Umhlanga apartment, check the route to the balcony and how much space your dining area needs. In a larger Sibaya lounge, think about where everyone gathers and whether a corner configuration suits that routine.
Tell us what you want to spend, too. A useful shortlist should work for your budget as well as your floor plan.
A sea-facing home doesn’t have to mean an all-white sofa. Start with colours you enjoy, then discuss the upholstery options and their care requirements.
Can you compare fabrics before deciding?
Yes. You can explore fabrics in person and take home up to four free fabric swatches to compare in your own space. Put them beside your curtains and flooring. Look again in the evening, with your usual lights on. Rather than choosing from the showroom alone, give yourself time to see which fabric belongs with the things you’re keeping.
Tell the team about children, pets and how often the sofa will be used, too.

Monday–Saturday: 09:00–18:00. Sunday and public holidays: 09:00–14:00.

Is the showroom in Umhlanga or Sibaya?
Our KZN showroom is in Sibaya, not Umhlanga itself. Look for Reefside Lifestyle & Leisure Centre when planning your visit.
Can I order online after visiting?
Absolutely. You can try the sofas and compare fabrics in-store, then take time to decide and place your order online from home.
Is parking available?
Yes, secure parking is available on the premises. Call the showroom before travelling with any specific access questions.
