Meet Our New Bed Frames: Zola and Lira Luxe

Two familiar favourites are making themselves at home in the bedroom. Get to know the bold Zola and refined Lira Luxe Bed Frames, from their upholstered silhouettes to the practical details behind them.

Our new Zola and Lira Luxe upholstered Bed Frames bring two of our bestselling sofa designs into the bedroom. Both join our Icons Range, with upholstered headboards and bases, Classic or Premium fabric options, and sizes from Queen to King XL.

You already know their names. Now there’s somewhere new to settle in.

We’ve taken the bold character of Zola and the understated elegance of Lira Luxe beyond the lounge, giving each its own bedroom interpretation.

What makes the Zola Bed Frame stand out?

The Zola Bed Frame is the bolder of the two, with a tall upholstered headboard and matching footboard creating a confident, sculpted silhouette.

It carries the structural, contemporary character of our Zola Sofas into an upholstered bed frame. The headboard is built into the frame, while black glide legs finish the look.

Think of Zola as the starting point for your bedroom, rather than a piece that disappears behind the bedding. If you love a bed with presence, this is the one to look at first.

How is the Lira Luxe Bed Frame different?

The Lira Luxe Bed Frame pairs a tall upholstered headboard with a low-profile base. Its refined silhouette draws on the timeless, understated design of our Lira Luxe Sofas.

With minimal hard lines and a statement headboard, the design feels elegant without being overly formal. Black glide legs keep the finish minimal.

It’s a different kind of presence from Zola: understated rather than bold. For a bedroom where you want a clean-lined frame that lets the headboard do the talking, Lira Luxe is a lovely place to start.

How are our upholstered bed frames built?

Both designs use pine ply frames reinforced with solid pine supports, together with 69 mm pine slats. They’re built to provide dependable, even support for your mattress.

An MDF closure completes the frame construction. Underneath their different silhouettes, both beds share an emphasis on a sturdy foundation and everyday durability.

The distinction is useful when choosing: you’re comparing two design directions, not simply choosing between a statement piece and a practical one.

Which sizes and fabrics can you choose?

Both bed frames come in Queen, Queen XL, King and King XL, upholstered in your choice of Classic or Premium fabric options.

You can start with the silhouette you prefer, then choose the size and upholstery that work for your bedroom.

The fabric is part of the finished design, not an afterthought. With a tall upholstered headboard in both ranges, it’s worth giving that choice as much attention as the frame itself.

How will your new bed frame arrive?

Both designs arrive flat-packed in boxes for self-assembly at home, with the headboard included.

The boxed format is designed to simplify delivery and lets you set up your new bed on your own schedule. Plan for assembly when it arrives rather than expecting a fully assembled frame.

What else should you know about our new beds?

Is the headboard included?

Yes, both designs include their matching upholstered headboard and base. You won’t need to choose a separate headboard to complete either frame.

Can you choose Queen XL or King XL?

Yes, both designs offer Queen XL and King XL options. Queen and King sizes are part of both ranges too.

Which range do the beds belong to?

Both are part of our Icons Range. Each takes its design direction from the sofa collection that shares its name.
